Dear Delaware: pen pal program
Wellington City Libraries has teamed up with a series of libraries across Delaware, USA to offer people a chance to make new friendships and learn about another culture via snail mail. Write letters and connect with people half a world away! We will match participants based on their age and interests — we are seeing kids, seniors and new arrivals to Wellington have a particular joy to be involved in this program.
All that is required is for participants to complete a registration form (attached) and return to a Wellington City Libraries branch, or submit online (ages 16+ only online): www.wcl.govt.nz/deardelaware
First registration deadline is Sunday May 14th
Dear Delaware is free and open to all ages. The Library will be taking care of all the international postage fees, and will notify all participants via email when to pick up letters from their nominated branch. For more info contact tess.mehonoshen@wcc.govt.nz
