State of Caring Survey – 2025-26 update

Thank you to everyone who completed and shared our second State of Caring survey. It has been so helpful to use your responses in our policy, campaigning and advocacy work. In recent years, we used your responses from the first survey to advocate for positive change for carers and to shape our priorities in areas like how to protect carers’ physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.

This time the survey, completed by 1700 carers, focuses on health, employment and finances. Your feedback will enable us to be more focused in our work and communicate to decision makers what really matters to you. Knowing the issues carers face couldn’t come at a more important time. You have provided important new data to reflect priorities and realities for our country’s family carers.
